BERKY mowing bucket for excavators

Mowing bucket for excavation work on ditches and embankments

With the BERKY mowing bucket, the bottom and embankment of a ditch can be mowed and cleaned in just one work step, regardless of whether the ditch is dry or water-bearing.

The cutting unit works gently and protects micro-organisms much better than conventional mulchers. The sward remains intact, preventing erosion damage to the embankment. The BERKY mowing bucket is the ideal solution for precise excavation work and gentle vegetation and water management on ditches and embankments.

Available equipment for the mowing bucket

  • Hydraulic tilting device for swivelling 90° to the right.

  • Cutting knife with screw-on blades for quick and easy blade changes.

  • Wear plate under the frame for demanding applications.

  • Attachable grids for mowing tall vegetation such as reeds.

Gentle vegetation management

Safe for embankments and the environment

The maintenance of ditches and embankments is crucial for preserving infrastructure, reliable water drainage, and protection against flooding and erosion. At the same time, biodiversity must be taken into consideration. The BERKY mowing bucket combines these requirements in a robust and well-thought-out working tool and enables careful water management.

Suitable for excavators, amphibious vehicles & more

The BERKY mowing bucket type 5900 is versatile and is suitable for mini, mobile and tracked excavators as well as for amphibious vehicles, tractors with mower extension or self-propelled mowers. A suitable hydraulic system and a suitable mount are required. This makes the mowing bucket ideal for vegetation management on ditches, embankments and banks – above and below water.
