Cut-Griffy HS 865 Series

The Cut-Griffy models of the HS 865 series are handy, robust shears with double grippers. The wood is held by the four gripper arms, which then inevitably clamp and cut by the intersecting blades. The individually mounted grippers and the serrated frame fixation provide greater holding power, thus significantly improving your safety.

A hydraulic valve controls the grippers so that they close before cutting and securely hold the cut material. The cut material can then be deposited in a targeted manner.

Wheeled and crawler excavators have proven particularly effective as carrier vehicles.

The Griffy HS 865 SE is equipped with a swivel unit as standard. With a swivel angle of 2 x 60°, you can precisely cut branches and also place the clippings lengthwise next to the excavator.

Our newest model, the Schnitt-Griffy HS 865 SE +, is also equipped with a grapple. This grapple can be used to collect small branches and shrubs. You no longer have to deposit the cuttings individually. This advantage saves you time and operating costs. The grapple has a collection capacity of up to approximately 250 mm in diameter.

Our Schnitt-Griffy HS 865/865 SE and HS 860/860 SE models can be retrofitted with a collecting grapple. Retrofitting is only possible at the factory.

The Schnitt-Griffy is also available without a swivel unit.
